HERE (Firstdraft Gallery)

This 3 week experimental program of happenings curated by Sarah Rawlings raised relevant questions relating to notions of contemporaneity, requiring presence and participation in a ‘moment’ which is fleeting and transient. The audience was  asked to reconsider the act or role of art as a form of gesture and a series of ideas perpetually manifesting in relation to the ever changing circumstances of living and being. Investigating themes surrounding site and context by means of transformative material, performance and architectural intervention- the collaborations aimed to create critical and interactive environments.
